Stakeholders’ support for Hong Kong Money Month 2021
The success of Hong Kong Money Month (HKMM), and other financial education efforts alike, hinge on the support from stakeholders running different education activities for people of different walks of life.
Over 50 organisations demonstrated their support to HKMM 2021 by providing educational activities/resources or promoting the campaign through their channels. Such level of support has undoubtedly amplified the reach and impact of HKMM. The IFEC Chairman, Mr Lester Huang, points out, “Together with the support from stakeholders, Hong Kong Money Month 2021 will help equip the public with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage their finances as they navigate through the rapidly evolving digital world.”
Key initiatives are promoted throughout the month of March on social media including the IFEC Facebook page, while a full list of all activities and resources are available on the HKMM 2021 website. As these initiatives target different segments of the population, they do share the common objective to enable the public to look after their financial well-being in today’s digital world.
The momentum created by HKMM can only be sustained by stakeholders’ concerted and continuous efforts in providing learning opportunities via investor and financial education initiatives.
