About the Financial Literacy Forum 2017

2017 marked the second Financial Literacy Forum organised by Investors Education Centre (IEC), which was held on 10 March under the theme “How to Enhance Financial Literacy in Hong Kong through Stakeholder Collaboration”. The Forum featured distinguished speakers from Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, who shared a diverse range of experiences and provided case studies on financial education so that attendees would understand how different types of organisations can work together to raise the financial literacy of people in Hong Kong.

Over 150 delegates attended the Forum, representing both the public and private sectors, including business sectors, government, statutory and public bodies, industry associations and professional bodies, non-government and community organisations, schools and education providers.

The Forum was a full-day event including a cocktail reception for all forum attendees.
