40 organisations awarded the Financial Education Champion 2021

In recognition of their contribution to financial education in in Hong Kong, 40 organisations were awarded of the Financial Education Champion (FEC) 2021. Among the awardees, seven were also honoured with the Financial Education Champion – Quality Award for their efforts in raising the quality of financial education in Hong Kong.

Speaking at the virtual award presentation ceremony, IFEC Chairman Mr Lester Huang said, “Financial learning should be incorporated into all stages and walks of lives. We are grateful to see stakeholders’ continuous efforts in providing quality financial education to their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, when many economic activities have been adversely affected. In such testing times, financial literacy becomes fundamental in supporting one’s financial well-being.” Details of the awardees and their works are available from the FEC 2021 advertorials here.

IFEC General Manager Ms Dora Li said, “Through this award recognition, and by encouraging more collaboration and sharing of best practices, the IFEC hopes to make investor and financial education more prevalent and accessible to the public.”
