Past Money Month
Money Month, Hong Kong's first territory-wide financial education campaign, took place from 18 February to 18 March 2017. During the period, around 100 organisations from the government, finance, education, community and media sectors, worked together to provide a diverse range of financial education activities.

Highlights
A highlight of Hong Kong Money Month 2017 was a two-day Education Fair, which was held in February at a high traffic shopping mall in Kowloon. It provided fun learning experiences on various money management topics – from budgeting, money saving and spending, investing to debt management, financial and retirement planning through a diverse mix of games, talks, performances and tips sharing by financial education practitioners, market experts, celebrities and ambassadors of Hong Kong Strategy for Financial Literacy (HKSFL).
Hong Kong Money Month 2018, co-ordinated by the Investor and Financial Education Council, is supported by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, the Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Insurance Authority, the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission.
This month-long campaign offers many opportunities for Hong Kong people of all walks including students, parents, adults, retirees, foreign workers, etc. to learn more about planning and managing their money wisely.

The launch ceremony was attended and supported by representatives from the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, Education Bureau, Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Insurance Authority, Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, Securities and Futures Commission and many financial education partners.
Hong Kong Money Month 2019 is co-ordinated by the Investor and Financial Education Council (formerly Investor Education Centre) as part of its effort to implement the Financial Literacy Strategy and is supported by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, the Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Insurance Authority, the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission.
Through this month-long campaign, all walks of life in Hong Kong including students, parents, adults, retirees, the under privileged, etc. would have many opportunities to learn about financial planning and money management.
