Following a series of money management education activities since October last year, the finale of the “Money Management Start Young!” award presentation ceremony-cum-carnival was held at Plaza Hollywood in Diamond Hill on 24 and 25 May.
All the “Money Management Start Young!” multi-media competition winners, including the champion, first runner-up, second runner-up, the seven merit awards and the most popular award voted by the public online, were awarded in the prize presentation ceremony. Popular artistes and singers were invited to play games and perform on stage. They also shared with the public about tips on smart money management and prudent investment.
Game booths and exhibition backdrops were set to show money management tips, including how to achieve saving goals, financial planning and smart use of credit cards, in the carnival.
A total of 2,100 visitors visited the carnival and brought home with the benefits to start managing money as early as possible.
