With financial scams continuing to proliferate, scam prevention has become an important component of retirement planning for seniors. Strengthening investor and financial education is imperative to ensure that they are well-equipped to safeguard and manage their retirement finances.

In collaboration with the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, the IFEC has launched the Anti-scam Programme for Seniors. This Programme equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to recognise financial scams and manage their finances effectively. Through digital interactive games, visits to the IFEC FinEd Hub and educational talks, seniors are empowered to build confidence in navigating financial decisions and protecting their assets.
