Programme details

The revolution of fintech has brought about transformative changes in financial services, introducing innovative products for deposit, loan, insurance, investment and payment. In this rapidly evolving landscape, digital financial literacy has becoming increasingly crucial. The Digital Financial Literacy Programme for Youth is specifically designed for secondary school students. Its objective is to equip the next generation with digital financial literacy and foster proper attitudes and behaviours towards financial management.

In the school year 2023/24, IFEC and Education Bureau co-organise “Digital Financial Literacy Programme for Youth 2023/24 - Four-Cell Story and Mini-Movie Competition” for secondary school students. The competition aims to increase the awareness of digital financial services and cyber risks among secondary school students, helping them to nurture skills required for the safe use of digital personal financial services and protect themselves from financial scams.
