    Good investing knowledge and attitude are important in enabling us to adapt to today’s fast-changing and complex investment environment. To this end, the IFEC has developed a “What You Need To Know About Investing” video series and resources, and collaborated with different financial institutions in running activities for the World Investor Week 2021 to help you to learn good investment knowledge and attitude.

    Strike the Gong for Financial Literacy ceremony

    The IFEC Chairman Mr. Lester Huang and HKEX Group Chief Financial Officer Ms. Vanessa Lau kicked off World Investor Week 2021 with the Strike the Gong for Financial Literacy ceremony, and delivered keynote speeches on the importance of financial education in the local communities.

     



    About World Investor Week

    World Investor Week (WIW) is a global campaign promoted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) to raise awareness about the importance of investor education and protection.

    The key themes this year are frauds and scams prevention and sustainable finance, which when combined with basic investment concepts, form the essential knowledge and capabilities needed by investors now and in the future.

          Investment experts will discuss the attitudes and behaviours impacting investment decisions and share tips on how to avoid pitfalls. This session will be conducted in Cantonese.
